Here are a few of our favorite memories from the past. Enjoy!
Bev and Brad have been gardening
Since the sesquicentennial.
We don't call them old.
We just say they're perennial.
When everyday life
Puts a strain on your cranium,
Go to Bloomington Garden
And buy a geranium.
Our gardening experts
Know facts so obscure,
They can tell you in Latin
The word for manure.
"I Cannot Tell a Lilac"
Little known fact: Washington's father asked young George to go outside and trim the lilacs. He cut down the cherry tree instead. He should have gone to Bloomington Garden Center.
"The Answer is Zucchini, Jeff"
Nate got on the TV program "Are You Smarter Than a Zucchini?" but he didn't know that a zucchini has more potassium than a banana and fewer calories than a baked potato. He should have gone to Bloomington Garden Center.
"Keeps the Trees Regular, I Suppose"
Roger knew pruning was important, but wondered if raisins might be better for smaller trees. He should have gone to Bloomington Garden Center.
"Let's See…Red Goes on the Stem…I Think"
Floyd always went to Bloomington Garden Center in the spring to find new ways to jump-start his garden.
